Hamilton-Burlington Business Networking Meeting (June 2025)

The June 6th Building My Wealth Burlington Networking Meeting explored a deeper and often overlooked driver of business success: the role of mindset, awareness, and conscious thinking in how decisions are made and opportunities are created.

Hosted at Centennial Hall inside the Burlington Public Library, the room was filled with focused and engaged professionals who were open to expanding not just their networks, but their perspective on how they approach business. The atmosphere was thoughtful, collaborative, and centered on growth at both a strategic and personal level.

The discussion, led by David Hesketh, focused on the essential role of consciousness in building wealth in business. Rather than focusing solely on external strategies, the conversation examined how internal awareness influences decision-making, leadership, communication, and long-term outcomes.

For business owners and entrepreneurs, this topic introduced a different lens. The ability to recognize patterns in thinking, manage stress, and operate with greater clarity can directly impact performance, relationships, and the ability to navigate challenges. Attendees were encouraged to reflect on how their mindset shapes their business results and how greater awareness can lead to more intentional and effective actions.

Throughout the meeting, conversations in the room reflected a strong level of curiosity and engagement. Attendees shared perspectives, asked thoughtful questions, and explored how these ideas could be applied within their own businesses. Connections were built through meaningful dialogue, with many discussions naturally leading toward continued conversations beyond the meeting.

One attendee received a copy of David Hesketh’s book Awakening Our Conscious Thinking, adding a thoughtful and relevant takeaway from the discussion. It served as a valuable extension of the ideas shared during the meeting and reinforced the theme of continued learning and awareness.

This was not just a networking event. This was a room where business owners explored how their thinking influences their results and where conversations opened the door to new ways of approaching growth.

If you were not in the room, you missed insights and connections that could shift how you think, decide, and operate in your business.

This event is organized, hosted, and sponsored by Juanita Heidebrecht, Your Mortgage Lady.
